Natures Way C 500 With Bilavonoids within category: Vitamin C
Vitamin C, along with the herb Echinacea, are probably the two most-popular immune-stimulating supplements on the market today. They're also two of the least effective -- on average, according to research. There are millions of people who swear by them, however. And if you're one of them, don't let the research or anyone's "expert" opinion sway you. Stick with what's worked for you.
Bear in mind, vitamin C is cleared from the system relatively quickly. It's worth looking for a product that's time-released. Barring that, lower doses taken frequently will work better than mega-doses taken all at once. Compounds called flavonoids, which occur next to vitamin C in fruits, will help the vitamin C work.
