Herba Tussin

Herba Tussin is a traditional cough and bronchial tea that supports the respiratory system* with demulcent herbs to soothe respiratory membranes¸ antitussive herbs to relieve cough and expectorant herbs to promote normal bronchial secretion.* Eucalyptus and licorice teas are traditionally used for non-serious upper respiratory tract conditions. Slippery elm is a safe and effective demulcent (soothing herb). How does it taste? Herba Tussin is a complex and aromatic blend of herbs that are spicy¸ minty¸ pungent¸ slightly bitter and sweet with citrus notes. It’s the cough drop tea!

Brewing: For Maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract.
Drink 5 or more cups daily when needed. To enhance benefits, add honey, especially in dry climates.

Do not use if you have known allergies to plants of the Asteraceae (daisy) family such as calendula, chamomile, echinacea, safflower or yarrow.
